Week 1 : January 4-10 (The Daniel Fast)

Prayer emphasis – your spiritual condition


Psalms 19:12-14, Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep me from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my Strength, and my Redeemer.

 

Psalms 24:3-5, Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

 

Psalms 51, Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of Thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

 

Psalms 66:18, If I regard iniquity on my heart You will not hear me.

Week 2 : January 11-17 (Fast 1 meal per day)

Prayer emphasis – your condition and call


- Your physical protection 

Psalms 91:2-12, Be my refuge and my fortress: my God. Deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. I will not be afraid of the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come near me. There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. Give Your angels charge over me to keep me in all thy ways. Let them bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.

 

Isaiah 40:4, Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain.

 

Isaiah 54:17, Let no weapon that is formed against me prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgment be condemned. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,

- The fullness of God

Ephesians 3:19, to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, and that I might be filled with all the fullness of God.                                      


Week 3 : January 18-24 (Eat 1 meal per day)

Prayer emphasis- your family and favor


-Your family 

Job 1:5 As Job rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings for his children lest they had sinned I pray for my children and family members…                                                   

 

- Your unsaved loved ones

Acts 16:31, You said believe on the Lord Jesus Christ I would be saved and my house.                              

 

- Favor, blessing, and promotion 

 

Psalms 115:14, The LORD increase us more and more, us and our children.

 

Deuteronomy 28:1-13, May the blessings of the Lord come on me and overtake me. Let me be blessed in the city, and blessed in the field and bless the fruit of my body (my children). Bless my basket and my store (job and money). Bless me when I come in, and blessed me when I go out. Cause my enemies that rise up against me to be smitten before my face. Let them come out against me one way, and flee before me seven ways. May the LORD command the blessing upon my storehouse, and all that I set my hand to. Establish us as a holy people unto Yourself. Make us plenteous in goods and open unto us Your good treasure and bless all the work of my hand so that I lend and not borrow. And may the LORD make us the head and not the tail; above only, and not beneath.

 

Psalms 30:5 In Your favor there is life.

Week 4 : December 25-31 (Eat 1 meal every other day)

Prayer emphasis – The Praising Place Church

 

- The Pastor and his family

Isaiah 21:6, Make him as a watchmen on the wall so that he declares what he sees. 58:1, May he cry aloud and spare not, lifting up his voice like a trumpet showing the people their transgressions and sins. 

 

John 21:15-16, Help him to feed the lambs and the sheep.                          

 

Ephesians 6:19-20, That utterance may be given unto him, that he may open his mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. 

 

Colossians 4:3-6, Cause him to speak boldly, as he ought to speak. Make manifest what he ought to speak. Let him walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time, his speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that he may know how he ought to answer every man.                                                                                              

 

1 Kings 3:9, Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that he may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

- Church finances, the spirit of generosity, giving in abundance.

Exodus 36:3-4, May we be as Israel. When they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary. - America & our leaders 

Psalms 9:17, For the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

 

Proverbs 29:2, When the righteous are in authority the people rejoice: but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.

 

2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.                     

 

- Israel
