A church built on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
(Psalms 11:3, 1 Corinthians 3:10-11) Once the foundation is laid the building can go up with the walls. We know that we cannot grow horizontally (numerically) without first growing vertically (spiritually).
*
A church that is progressive and forward thinking.
(Ecclesiastes 7:8, Haggai 2:9) You can’t reach a progressive society with backward thinking. We can combine technology and the anointing. Thank God for our history but our prophecy is greater.
*
A church that is family minded.
(Psalms 127:3, 145:4, Proverbs 22:6) We will not neglect or deprive the next generation, but will plant the sound doctrine of the Word of God into them so they are prepared for the challenges ahead of them.
*
A church where every member ministers.
(Matthew 5:13-16, 9:37) Everyone should be a minister because the harvest is too big for one. We must specialize in networking.
*
A church that has participatory services.
(Psalms 34:8) We are not spectators but participators. We know that God is to be studied but also experienced.
*
A church that will engage in the spirit of excellence.
(Daniel 5:12-14, 6:3) We consider what God is doing to be important enough to give our best. We don’t give God hand-me downs, leftovers, or anything second rate or inferior. We plan, organize, and think things through, because we believe that private preparation helps in public presentation.
*
A church that observes order.
(Galatians 5:23) Part of the “fruit of the Spirit” is “temperance” (or self-control). We will have order in the home and order in the church. We listen to and respect those over us in the Lord.
*
A church that maintains integrity.
(Proverbs 22:1) God wants you to be successful and prosperous. (Genesis 24:1, 39:3, Psalms 35:27, 2 Kings 18:7, Daniel 6:28, 3 John 2) We don’t use gimmicks to get people to support the ministry. If we provide the vision, God will supply the provision.
*
A church of acceptance.
(Galatians 3:28, Acts 17:26, Matthew 13:47) We do not believe in sexism or racism.
